Our House is just about completed, but I wanted to upload a quick clip of the title card for the film. This got put together surprisingly quickly thanks to a great tutorial from Evan Abrams’ on YouTube.
This is just the video portion of the clip, in the flick there’s some solid steel guitar from the opening riff of Andrew Pike’s “Don’t Like Shadows” wailing over it.
I hope you like it, can’t wait to have the whole movie finished.
It’s our first batch of production stills from “Our House”
The film is back and the editing has begun, but it’s still going to be a while before the movie is ready to be seen. In the meantime I’ll be releasing production stills and some other goodies to tease you. Next week there might be more stills, or maybe something that movies. Who knows…
…seriously, at this point I don’t even know.
New one-sheet for “Our House”.
Here’s the new one-sheet for Michael Hickey’s upcoming short film “Our House”. Production wrapped on October 9th in downtown St. John’s.
SYNOPSIS
Ryan & Gwen are new to Newfoundland and find their St. John’s home to be, well, let’s just say “pre-occupied”. Luckily for Ryan & Gwen, the question they haven’t had the nerve to ask gets answered.
Production has wrapped on “Our House”
“Our House” is officially “in the can”, and the can is in a box, and that box is on it’s way to Toronto for processing.
I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who came out on the shoot and gave their time and skill to help get this movie made. It means so much to me that you all came together to help me do this, and it couldn’t have been done without each and every one of you.

There’s a window of about a week while I wait for the film to come back and then editing starts full steam. In the meantime there will be lots of updates coming to try to get you all as excited about this movie as I am.

“Our House” auditions are over
Assuming anyone reading this follows me on Twitter or on Facebook I don’t really have to let you know that the auditions for “Our House” were held yesterday. I kind of flooded my social media with it over the last couple weeks. I’m sorry. I’m done now. At least with that.
They went great and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who showed interest and came out! It’s really flattering to have people looking to be involved in a project like this and I can’t say enough good about everyone.
Hopefully I’ll be announcing the cast soon. In the meantime, here’s an interactive Saved By The Bell YouTube game.
